This yearโs Christmas was a little unusual for Tom Brady. Rather than spending the holiday with his three children, the Buccaneers quarterback was in Phoenix, Arizona, facing the Cardinals. Despite the fact that Bradyโs squad won, it appears that Christmas happiness was scarce. Brady opened up earlier this month about spending Christmas alone, and his comment about his first Christmas after divorcing Gisele Bรผndchen is heartbreaking.
Brady and Bรผndchen confirmed their divorce on October 28th, following months of speculation. Theyโve kept their breakup mostly private, but Brady has revealed a little of what heโs going through. According to Us Weekly, Brady discussed his intentions for the holiday on an edition of SiriusXMโs Letโs Go with Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald, and Jim Grayโs podcast. โItโll be a fresh experience that Iโve never had before that Iโm going to learn how to cope with.โ And I believe that is what life is all about. So you just asked what you learned from this football season. โIโm going to have to learn how to cope with Christmas Eve at a hotel, and Iโm going to have to learn how to deal with Christmas and Christmas night while still being a professional,โ he added.
Brady also mentioned that he would be celebrating Christmas late. โAnd then Iโm looking forward to enjoying Christmas with my kids the next day,โ he said. โWhich, you know, has always been a part of what football season has been for a long time. โOnce again, emotional qualities assist us to thrive.โ
Brady posted an Instagram Story on December 27 with his three children, Jack, Benjamin, and Vivian, in front of a Christmas tree with the words โMerry Xmas โค๏ธโค๏ธ.โ So it appears that they were able to celebrate, although a few days late.
Bรผndchen spent Christmas in Brazil with her two children, Benjamin and Vivian, whom she shares with Brady. โItโs always so lovely to come back home,โ she wrote in an Instagram image from the vacation, which included photos of her and her family enjoying nature and spending quality time together.
