After coldly serenading former President Donald Trump in her song “Don’t Lie to Me,” Barbra Streisand once more criticizes the “tyrant.” She claims that if the Republican front-runner for 2024 is re-elected, she will leave the United States.

Recently, Streisand called Trump “so stupid” and “ill-informed.” On Stephen Colbert’s show, she shared, “I can’t live in this country if he becomes president.” This isn’t her first threat to leave, nor is she the only celebrity who vowed to flee after Trump won in 2016.

The Grammy-nominated album, a musical critique of Trump’s tyranny, includes songs like “Don’t Lie to Me.” Streisand explained she was motivated by the news that made her “sick, listening to lies, listening to craziness.”

Streisand writes, “Trump has never taken responsibility for his actions, blaming others when he’s at fault. We need a new America, without pollution, obscenities, insults, and revenge. We need to restore the nobility of truth…and only then will America be great again.”
