In addition, he has made references to working with Ryan Coogler, who is supposedly developing a part for him in the upcoming Black Panther movie, and Steve McQueen.

Washington teased,ย โ€œAfter that, I am going to retire,โ€ย after mentioning ventures like King Lear.

The made-for-television movie Wilma launched Washingtonโ€™s career in 1977.

Carbon Copy, his feature debut, came out in 1981. Since then, he has established himself as one of Hollywoodโ€™s most admired performers, thanks to his iconic roles in movies like Malcolm X, Training Day, and Glory.

His work has continuously demonstrated his talent and enthusiasm, garnering him a great deal of praise and awards.

The actor stated,ย โ€œThere are very few films left for me to make that Iโ€™m interested in, and I have to be inspired by the filmmaker.โ€ย

Washington revealed earlier this year that he wanted to be a part of Gladiator II.
