The shooting occurred at Abundant Life Christian School, a nondenominational institution serving approximately 420 students from prekindergarten through high school. The morning chaos erupted as Rupnow, a student at the school, opened fire using a handgun. Two individuals, including a teacher, lost their lives, and six others sustained injuries.
Rupnow’s attack ended with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Authorities confirmed she was already inside the school when the shooting began, and no security breach occurred.
