AG Bondi Vows To Find, Prosecute Funders Of Domestic Terrorism

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi issued a stern warning on Friday to anyone considering funding left-wing violence following recent attacks on Tesla dealerships associated with Trump advisor Elon Musk. During an interview with Fox Newsโ€™ Maria Bartiromo, Bondi announced that her office had apprehended an individual who threw a Molotov cocktail through the window of a Tesla dealership in Loveland, Colorado.

According to Forbes, 42-year-old Colorado resident Lucy Grace Nelson was found at the scene with a โ€œcontainer of gasoline plus a box of bottles and wick material,โ€ as reported by the United States Attorneyโ€™s Office for the District of Colorado. Itโ€™s just the latest act of vandalism against Tesla dealerships, as liberals target Muskโ€™s cost-cutting measures at the U.S. Department of Government Efficiency. But, Bondi vowed, violence will get them nowhere.

โ€œTheyโ€™re looking at up to 20 years in prison,โ€ Bondi said about Nelson, now charged with malicious destruction of property for multiple instances. โ€œSo if youโ€™re going to touch a Tesla, go to a dealership, do anything, you better watch out โ€˜cuz weโ€™re coming after you, and if youโ€™re funding this weโ€™re coming after you. Weโ€™re going to find out who you are.โ€

No evidence has emerged linking the recent vandalism of Tesla dealerships to a central organizer. However, the timing of these incidents has raised concerns for Bondi and the Trump administration. In response, President Donald Trump has reiterated his commitment to supporting the entrepreneurโ€™s electric vehicle company during this critical period.

At the White House earlier this week, Trump and Musk stood together before a backdrop of Tesla vehicles where the president encouraged Americans to finance a purchase for โ€œas low as $299/month.โ€ There, Trump wrote Musk an $80,000 check for a vehicle that he said was going to be a gift to his 17-year-old granddaughter.

Since the Trump administration began, many Tesla ownersโ€”especially in predominantly blue areasโ€”have expressed regret, with some rushing to sell their vehicles at significant losses. In Brookline, Massachusetts, police arrested a local man accused of covering Teslas with anti-Musk stickers. In Salem, Oregon, a man fired on empty Teslas at a dealership using an AR-style rifle. Meanwhile, three Teslas at a dealership in Dedham, Massachusetts, were defaced with spray-painted anti-Trump slogans, and four more were set on fire at a dealership in Seattle, Washington.
