ICE Charges Scores Of Illegal Migrants With Identity Theft

President Donald Trump and his border czar, Tom Homan, are continuing to crack down on illegal alien crime, and a recent mass arrest has shown how deep the problem really became under former President Joe Biden.

โ€œEighteen criminal illegal aliens have been charged as the result of an immigration-related identity theft investigation following a multi-agency effort with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement,โ€ Immigration and Customs Enforcement officialsย saidย in a press release on Friday.

โ€œEach individual has been charged with aggravated identity theft, misuse of Social Security numbers, and false statements regarding citizenship with the intent to engage unlawfully in employment. If convicted on all counts, each faces a minimum penalty of two years, up to 12 years, in federal prison,โ€ it said before listing the individuals who were apprehended:

โ€œThese cases were investigated by ICE Homeland Security Investigations Tampa, the Department of Transportation โ€“ Office of Inspector General, the Social Security Administration โ€“ Office of the Inspector General, the United States Border Patrol, the Department of Labor โ€“ Office of Inspector General, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, and the Pinellas County Sheriffโ€™s Office. The cases are being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Karyna Valdes and Christopher F. Murray, and Special Assistant U.S. Attorney Joseph Wheeler, III,โ€ the press release continued.

Homanย issued a stark warningย to criminal aliens in February, vowing that they would all be arrested and reaffirming his promise to immigrant terror groups to โ€œwipe you off the face of the earth.โ€

He also issued a warning to blue cities that are sheltering illegals by refusing to cooperate with federal immigration authorities.

Homan, a former acting director of ICE during Trumpโ€™s first administration, told an engaged audience at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in February that the number of illegal immigrant โ€œgotawaysโ€ had, by then, dropped by 95%, Fox Newsย reported.

โ€œWe had about 1,800 a day in 2023. You know how many we had yesterday? Forty-eight,โ€ he said. โ€œYouโ€™re talking about 2,000 miles of border, and only 48 people escaped. But thatโ€™s 48 too many. Iโ€™m not going to be happy till that numberโ€™s zero.โ€

Homan also announced that in Trumpโ€™s first month in the Oval Office, ICE arrested 21,000 illegal aliens.

โ€œIโ€™m happy with the numbers, but Iโ€™m not going to be satisfied until every criminal alien gang member, every criminal alien, every Tren de Aragua is eradicated from this country and [weโ€™ve] sent their ass to Gitmo, where they belong,โ€ he said.

Addressing criminal migrant groups such as Venezuelaโ€™s Tren de Aragua and El Salvadorโ€™s MS-13โ€”both recently designated as โ€œforeign terrorist organizationsโ€ by the Trump administrationโ€”Homan declared that the administration is delivering on its promise to eliminate them.

โ€œHeโ€™s going to wipe you off the face of the earth,โ€ he said. โ€œYou have killed more Americans than every terrorist organization in the world combined. You are now a terrorist organization. So, word out to anybody that assists them, anybody that sells their drugs on a street, anybody assists these cartels in any way, you are helping a terrorist organization.โ€
