In the wake of this week’s US election, there is a ton to consider.
Really, we wouldn’t be able to provide a thorough rundown even if we spent a whole month sorting through everything that has been stated, conjectured, and rumored in recent days.
It should come as no surprise considering that during his three election campaigns, Donald Trump has emerged as the most polarizing presidential candidate in history.
You have an opinion, whether you like him or not, and it’s a measure to his charisma and cult-like appeal that every aspect of his life, every tiny choice he takes, is scrutinized, dissected, and dissected in order to better comprehend what the heck is going on.
And it seems that his closest loved ones are included in it.
Articles on the rarely seen Barron Trump flooded the internet earlier this week, and countless right-wing lick-spittles have begged to be nearer to Donald in the hopes that they can catch some of his gleam.
Melania Trump is another. Just as she was a major player during her husband’s first tenure in the White House, the former model was an undeniable presence during his first two campaigns.
However, there is no denying that something has changed. Perhaps the mayhem brought on by her husband’s irrational outbursts following the 2020 election loss.
The depravity that transpired on Capitol Hill, or the heinous assault on democracy? Or was it the hush-money controversy surrounding the vile romance between Melania’s godly, virtuous husband and former porn star Stormy Daniels?
In the end, there are a thousand and one reasons why Melania made the decision that she would prefer to live in the background rather than be rolled out to stand at her husband’s side, showing all the affection and support of a wax figure.
Her absence is noticeable, which is my point. People have taken notice, and there are now rumors circulating in a number of places that Melania may decide not to return to the White House when Donald starts his second term in office.
According to the official line, she wishes to be closer in order to help her son, Barron, who is now a college student at the age of 18.
In any event, the Trumps’ posting of a family photo following Donald’s triumph against Kamala Harris earlier this week fueled the flames even more. Kai Trump, the eldest child of Donald Trump Jr., posted a picture of almost the entire Trump family—including Elon Musk—on Wednesday with the comment, “The whole squad.”
Melania wasn’t involved either.
Many users on social media took notice of the former and future First Lady’s absence, openly questioning why the people in the picture couldn’t wait for her and what she might be doing that would prevent her from being in the picture.
Melania emerged from the depths of, well, who knows where, and spent the entire 2024 election day by her husband’s side.
That evening, she joined him as he delivered his victory speech from West Palm Beach.
She wasn’t present when the aforementioned shot was taken, but she was there nonetheless.
Even though his ex-wife, Vanessa Trump, featured in the picture, Kimberly Guilfoyle, who has been engaged to Donald Trump Jr. since 2021, did not make the cut on election night.
