Michelle Obama Takes Jab at Barack Over His Behavior In The Bedroom

Former First Lady Michelle Obama made headlines again this week after she shared intimate details about her personal life and habits.

During an interview on โ€œNot Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce,โ€ Obama revealed that bedtime can be a contentious time for her and her husband, former President Barack Obama.

โ€œHi, Iโ€™m Michelle Obama, and Iโ€™m not gonna lieโ€ฆbedtime is the best time of the day. My husband teases me about how early I can go to bed. He just doesnโ€™t understand the idea of getting into some good sheets, and itโ€™s cool,โ€ Obama said at the beginning of the interview.

โ€œIf weโ€™ve got people in the house, Iโ€™m game, Iโ€™m there. Iโ€™m up, Iโ€™m in it. Iโ€™m laughing, Iโ€™m talking. But, you know, the minute we finish up, Iโ€™m just trying not to go to bed before the sun goes down,โ€ Obama continued.

โ€œWhatโ€™s ideal bedtime?โ€ Kelce asked.

โ€œMan, any time after dinner,โ€ Obama said with a laugh.

โ€œThatโ€™s lovely,โ€ Kelce agreed, adding, โ€œComing from someone who likes the AARP special reservationโ€”which is the 5:30 reservationโ€”I would love to be in bed by like 8:30.โ€

โ€œThe girls, they were good sleepers,โ€ Obama said, referring to her daughters Sasha and Malia.

At another point in the interview, Obama declared that she is โ€œnot interested in politicsโ€ as a mom of two.

โ€œI was so glad when we got out of the White House,โ€ the 61-year-old admitted, referencing the end of her husband former President Barack Obamaโ€™s second term in 2017.

โ€œI wanted them to have the freedom of not having the eyes of the world on them. They still are dealing with paparazzi and being who they are and trying to carve out their own identity,โ€ Obama said, referring to her two daughters.

Because of that, Michelle noted, โ€œWhen people ask me, would I ever run [for office], the answer is no.โ€

She said that those wondering โ€œhave absolutely no idea the sacrifice that your kids make when your parents are in that role.โ€

The former lawyer added, โ€œNot only am I not interested in politics in that way but the thought of putting my girls back into that spotlight when they are just now establishing themselves โ€” weโ€™ve done enough.โ€

As far as Michelle is concerned, the โ€œquestion [has been] asked and answeredโ€ and is โ€œnever gonna happen.โ€

She concluded, โ€œTheyโ€™ve already served their time. โ€ฆ It would be unthinkable. Nope.โ€

Obama was mercilessly ridiculed on social media after the first few episodes of her new podcast, โ€œIMO (In My Opinion),โ€ debuted to poor numbers when compared to other political shows on YouTube.

To begin their new media endeavor, Obama and her brother Craig Robinson launched their video podcast on Monday, March 10, and uploaded their first two episodes on Wednesday.

But on their first day on the platform, the two episodes received 15,000 and 47,000 views, respectively. On the other hand, Joe Roganโ€™s show receives between 500,000 and 56 million viewers and listeners each episode, while California Governor Gavin Newsomโ€™s new podcast received over 743,000 views on YouTube in its debut episode.

Several on social media to poke fun at the former first lady for her โ€œabysmalโ€ viewership numbers.

One user on X, formerly known as Twitter, shared a screenshot showing the view count on Obamaโ€™s YouTube page andย wrote, โ€œMichelle Obamaโ€™s first couple podcast episodes absolutely flopped, not even getting a combined 20,000 views in the 15 hours after posting. The comments filled with people saying โ€˜nobody asked for this.โ€™ What an utter failure. Who thought this was a good idea?โ€

Another X user commented: โ€œI find the majority of successful podcasts come about naturally and over time. The left seems to think success can be forced. I have news for โ€˜em. You canโ€™t just take someone who was popular at one time, and achieve your goals. It just doesnโ€™t work that way.โ€

A third person pointed out: โ€œThis is extremely embarrassing. Absolutely insane that it did this bad.โ€

Fox News host Jesse Watters declared Michelle Obamaโ€™s podcast a โ€œflopโ€ just hours after the first episode was released.

Watters said on Wednesday nightโ€™s episode of โ€œJesse Watters Primetimeโ€ that he had been wondering where the former First Lady had vanished after she missed several important occasions, such as the inauguration of President Donald Trump and the funeral for former President Jimmy Carter.

Former President Obama attended a Los Angeles Clippers game courtside on Wednesdayโ€”but noticeably without Michelle Obama, furtherย sparking rumors of a coming breakup.

Barack Obama notably attended President Donald Trumpโ€™s second inauguration alone in January after Michelle, a vocal critic of Trump,ย opted to skip the event.

Michelle Obama was also absent from her husbandโ€™s side at the funeral for President Jimmy Carter at Washington National Cathedral in D.C., with reports indicating that she chose to stay in Hawaii for an โ€œextended holiday vacationโ€ instead.

Despite ongoing speculation about their relationship, the couple appeared affectionate on Valentineโ€™s Day last month, with bothย sharing heartfelt messagesย on social media, The Post noted.
