Former First Lady Michelle Obama made headlines again this week after she shared intimate details about her personal life and habits.
During an interview on โNot Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce,โ Obama revealed that bedtime can be a contentious time for her and her husband, former President Barack Obama.
โHi, Iโm Michelle Obama, and Iโm not gonna lieโฆbedtime is the best time of the day. My husband teases me about how early I can go to bed. He just doesnโt understand the idea of getting into some good sheets, and itโs cool,โ Obama said at the beginning of the interview.
โIf weโve got people in the house, Iโm game, Iโm there. Iโm up, Iโm in it. Iโm laughing, Iโm talking. But, you know, the minute we finish up, Iโm just trying not to go to bed before the sun goes down,โ Obama continued.
โWhatโs ideal bedtime?โ Kelce asked.
โMan, any time after dinner,โ Obama said with a laugh.
โThatโs lovely,โ Kelce agreed, adding, โComing from someone who likes the AARP special reservationโwhich is the 5:30 reservationโI would love to be in bed by like 8:30.โ
โThe girls, they were good sleepers,โ Obama said, referring to her daughters Sasha and Malia.

At another point in the interview, Obama declared that she is โnot interested in politicsโ as a mom of two.
โI was so glad when we got out of the White House,โ the 61-year-old admitted, referencing the end of her husband former President Barack Obamaโs second term in 2017.
โI wanted them to have the freedom of not having the eyes of the world on them. They still are dealing with paparazzi and being who they are and trying to carve out their own identity,โ Obama said, referring to her two daughters.
Because of that, Michelle noted, โWhen people ask me, would I ever run [for office], the answer is no.โ
She said that those wondering โhave absolutely no idea the sacrifice that your kids make when your parents are in that role.โ
The former lawyer added, โNot only am I not interested in politics in that way but the thought of putting my girls back into that spotlight when they are just now establishing themselves โ weโve done enough.โ
As far as Michelle is concerned, the โquestion [has been] asked and answeredโ and is โnever gonna happen.โ
She concluded, โTheyโve already served their time. โฆ It would be unthinkable. Nope.โ
Obama was mercilessly ridiculed on social media after the first few episodes of her new podcast, โIMO (In My Opinion),โ debuted to poor numbers when compared to other political shows on YouTube.
To begin their new media endeavor, Obama and her brother Craig Robinson launched their video podcast on Monday, March 10, and uploaded their first two episodes on Wednesday.
But on their first day on the platform, the two episodes received 15,000 and 47,000 views, respectively. On the other hand, Joe Roganโs show receives between 500,000 and 56 million viewers and listeners each episode, while California Governor Gavin Newsomโs new podcast received over 743,000 views on YouTube in its debut episode.
Several on social media to poke fun at the former first lady for her โabysmalโ viewership numbers.
One user on X, formerly known as Twitter, shared a screenshot showing the view count on Obamaโs YouTube page andย wrote, โMichelle Obamaโs first couple podcast episodes absolutely flopped, not even getting a combined 20,000 views in the 15 hours after posting. The comments filled with people saying โnobody asked for this.โ What an utter failure. Who thought this was a good idea?โ
Another X user commented: โI find the majority of successful podcasts come about naturally and over time. The left seems to think success can be forced. I have news for โem. You canโt just take someone who was popular at one time, and achieve your goals. It just doesnโt work that way.โ
A third person pointed out: โThis is extremely embarrassing. Absolutely insane that it did this bad.โ
Fox News host Jesse Watters declared Michelle Obamaโs podcast a โflopโ just hours after the first episode was released.
Watters said on Wednesday nightโs episode of โJesse Watters Primetimeโ that he had been wondering where the former First Lady had vanished after she missed several important occasions, such as the inauguration of President Donald Trump and the funeral for former President Jimmy Carter.
Former President Obama attended a Los Angeles Clippers game courtside on Wednesdayโbut noticeably without Michelle Obama, furtherย sparking rumors of a coming breakup.
Barack Obama notably attended President Donald Trumpโs second inauguration alone in January after Michelle, a vocal critic of Trump,ย opted to skip the event.
Michelle Obama was also absent from her husbandโs side at the funeral for President Jimmy Carter at Washington National Cathedral in D.C., with reports indicating that she chose to stay in Hawaii for an โextended holiday vacationโ instead.
Despite ongoing speculation about their relationship, the couple appeared affectionate on Valentineโs Day last month, with bothย sharing heartfelt messagesย on social media, The Post noted.
