Since Taking Office Again, Donald Trump Has Already Signed These Major Policies

The 47th President of the United States, Donald Trump, has taken the oath of office. And just hours after resuming his presidency, he has implemented a number of significant domestic and international reforms in the United States.

As the United States bid farewell to its departing leader, Joe Biden, who has officially retired from active politics, Trump was sworn in as president on Monday, January 20.

Elon Musk and Hillary Clinton, whom Trump defeated in the 2016 presidential election, were among those in attendance, sitting next to Trumpโ€™s wife Melania and son Barron.

When he returned to the White House after taking the Presidential Oath, he signed several executive orders. These are immediate legislation pertaining to US regulations. They are essentially written orders that are not subject to congressional approval.

Birthrights, refugees, and the โ€œnational emergencyโ€ at the Mexican border

โ€˜National emergencyโ€™ is the term Trump used toย describeย the situation at the US-Mexico border. It has so cleared the path for the deployment of American military personnel to patrol the border.

Mexican drug cartels were likewise designated asย โ€œforeign terrorist organizationsโ€ย by the act.

Trump also declared that a new executive order, which he described asย โ€œa priceless and profound gift,โ€ย will restrict automatic citizenship to children of undocumented immigrants born in the United States.

Itย saysย that if a personโ€™sย โ€œmother was unlawfully present in the United States and the father was not a United States citizen or lawful permanent resident at the time of said personโ€™s birthโ€ย orย โ€œwhen that personโ€™s motherโ€™s presence in the United States at the time of said personโ€™s birth was lawful but temporary,โ€ย then US citizenship does not transfer to the child.

Civil rights organizations claim that this act will wind up in court because it is blatantly against the US Constitution.

โ€œUntil such time as the further entry into the United States of refugees aligns with the interests of the United States,โ€ย according to another executive order, the US Refugee Admissions Program has been paused.

Itย statesย thatย โ€œThe Secretary of State and the Secretary of Homeland Security may jointly determine to admit aliens to the United States as refugees on a case-by-case basis, in their discretion, but only so long as they determine that the entry of such aliens as refugees is in the national interest and does not pose a threat to the security or welfare of the United States.โ€

Pardoning 1,500 US Capitol rioters

A startling 1,500 persons who were found guilty or were in danger of being found guilty of their actions in the January 2021 US Capitol riots have been pardoned by Trump.

The Capitol Building was besieged by participants in a protest on Congress that descended into a riot.

For their part in the violence, a few were found guilty in court. One of them, Enrique Tarrio, the former head of the far-right Proud Boys group, received a 22-year prison sentence.

The Guardianย claims that this means the justice department will stop looking into the incident.

Establishing a rule that acknowledges only โ€œtwo gendersโ€

There are now just two genders in the US, according to Trumpโ€™s ruling: male and female.

โ€œDefend women from gender ideology extremism and restore biological truth,โ€ย he stated, was the reason behind the action.

In a major setback to trans rights in the US, the judgment further emphasizes that a personโ€™s gender is notย โ€œchangeable.โ€

Gender ideology issues will no longer get federal financing, and government institutions will no longer ask for gender identity in official correspondence and forms.

Rather, it will simply inquire about a personโ€™s gender.

TikTok ban is stopped in its tracks

Following a Supreme Court ruling, TikTok was outlawed in the US just days before Trump took office as the 47th president.

However, he temporarily undid it, and the app is now back up and running in the nation after slipping momentarily down.

The White House websiteย states:ย โ€œTo fulfil those responsibilities, I intend to consult with my advisors, including the heads of relevant departments and agencies on the national security concerns posed by TikTok, and to pursue a resolution that protects national security while saving a platform used by 170 million Americans.โ€

โ€œMy administration must also review sensitive intelligence related to those concerns and evaluate the sufficiency of mitigation measures TikTok has taken to date.โ€

The followingย โ€œ75 daysโ€ย will be spent by Trumpโ€™s team examining whether or not the app can survive in the US.

The death penaltyโ€™restoredโ€

โ€˜Restoring the death penaltyโ€™ is the title of one executive order that drastically alters law and order.

โ€œCapital punishment is an essential tool for deterring and punishing those who would commit the most heinous crimes and acts of lethal violence against American citizens,โ€ย the court decisionย states.

Trumpโ€™s executive order on the death penalty says his administration โ€˜will not tolerate efforts to stymie and eviscerate the laws that authorise capital punishment against those who commit horrible acts of violence against American citizensโ€™.

โ€œThe Attorney General shall pursue the death penalty for all crimes of a severity demanding its use,โ€ย Trump declared as a result.

Goodbye World Health Organization (WHO) and Paris climate agreement

Trump has removed the United States from the World Health Organization (WHO) due to payment-related concerns. Additionally, he has criticized how it handled the COVID-19 pandemic.

The executive orderย says:ย โ€œThe WHO continues to demand unfairly onerous payments from the United States, far out of proportion with other countriesโ€™ assessed payments.โ€

โ€œChina, with a population of 1.4 billion, has 300 percent of the population of the United States, yet contributes nearly 90 percent less to the WHO.โ€

In addition, Trump has once again halted the United Statesโ€™ participation in the Paris Climate Agreement, arguing that the United States is engaged inย โ€œinternational agreements and initiatives that do not reflect the countryโ€™s values or its contributions to the pursuit of economic and environmental objectives.โ€

Elon Muskโ€™s โ€˜DOGE Agendaโ€™

The โ€˜DOGE Agendaโ€™ is the web name for the Department of Government Efficiency, which Trump formally established.

The agency willโ€™modernize federal technology and software to enhance governmental efficiency and productionโ€™ under the direction of Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, the directiveย said.

According toย CBS, a public interest law company called National Security Counselors has also filed a complaint against the department, alleging that it breaches federal government openness regulations.

โ€˜Punishingโ€™ election interference

The Joe Biden campaign allegedly conspired withย โ€œ51 former intelligence officialsโ€ย toย โ€œissue a letter discrediting the reporting that President Joseph R. Bidenโ€™s son had abandoned his laptop at a computer repair business,โ€ย according to oneย executive order.

โ€˜Any current or active clearancesโ€™ of these individuals are revoked under the decree.

It states thatย โ€œthose with โ€˜government-issued security clearances should not use their clearance status to influence US electionsโ€™.โ€

Alaskaโ€™s potential

The โ€˜extraordinary resource potentialโ€™ of Alaska is the focus of Trumpโ€™s efforts.

โ€œThe State of Alaska holds an abundant and largely untapped supply of natural resources, including, among others, energy, minerals, timber, and seafood. Unlocking this bounty of natural wealth will raise the prosperity of our citizens while helping to enhance our Nationโ€™s economic and national security for generations to come,โ€ย his executive orderย says.

According to Trump, it will help the USย โ€œguard against foreign powers weaponizing energy supplies in theaters of geopolitical conflictโ€ย and provide jobs for Americans.
