FOX NEWS HOST GREG GUTFELD COMES TO THE AID OF TUCKER CARLSON IN VERBAL SLAP AT GERALDO RIVERA

It seems that Fox News anchor Greg Gutfeld is standing behind his longstanding co-worker Tucker Carlson, who abruptly departed from the network.

On Monday, it was announced that Carlson had been let go from his position. In response, Gutfeld, who has his own program on Fox News, used social media on Wednesday to defend Carlson and criticize another colleague, Geraldo Rivera, who had expressed disagreement with Carlson’s statements.

After Rivera had tweeted that Carlson’s theories were “bullsh*t” and accused ex-President Trump of inciting an insurrection, Gutfeld took to Twitter to express his disapproval of Rivera’s stance.

Gutfeld labeled Rivera a “class act” and a “real man of the people,” which was a sarcastic way of pushing back on Rivera.

“You’re a class act Geraldo. A real man of the people,” Gutfeld tweeted. The tweet quickly went viral, with many Fox News viewers rallying behind Gutfeld and Carlson. In a separate Fox News segment, Gutfeld even sparked speculation about the 2024 presidential race, joking that Tucker Carlson might run against Susan Rice, though it’s not likely Carlson will enter the political arena but instead will no doubt continue his media dominance at another network.
